Grant Advisor

At the Radboudumc Research Institute for Medical Innovation, you contribute to innovative research with a direct impact on the healthcare of tomorrow. Research is organized into four research domains, each with its own focus. Discovery Science & BioMedTech concentrates on fundamental mechanisms and experimental research as the foundation for new interventions. Clinical Science, MedTech & Data Science, and Health Science translate this knowledge into patient-centered innovations, technological applications, and sustainable, preventive healthcare. Together, these domains drive the development of innovative solutions that improve patient care and advance healthcare systems worldwide.

Who are you?

You are analytical, curious, and quick learner. You enjoy delving into a wide range of research topics within the life sciences and are able to quickly grasp new scientific content. You easily switch between different researchers, projects, and grant programs while maintaining a clear overview, even when multiple deadlines overlap.

You are a strong point of contact for researchers, actively contribute ideas regarding their research and grant plans, and navigate an academic organization effectively. You have a keen sense of academic dynamics and understand what motivates researchers and the challenges they face when securing research funding.

In addition, you have:

• a completed university degree, preferably in the life sciences or a related field.
• a PhD. or comparable work experience is a plus.
• excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
• experience with grant writing or guiding grant applications is a plus.
• familiarity with the Dutch and/or European funding landscape is a plus.
• A proactive work attitude, strong organizational skills, and a passion for collaborating with researchers and colleagues from various disciplines.

• This position requires a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
