Jouw functie

We are seeking a project manager to support our research on genomics, brain ageing and Alzheimer’s disease. The project manager will work closely with the project principal investigator, Dr. Sourena Soheili-Nezhad, and will be embedded within the research group of Dr. Emma Sprooten in the Medical Neuroscience Department at Radboudumc.

Our team collaborates with the Department of Human Genetics and academic partners in Groningen (ERIBA), London (UCL), Leiden (LUMC), and other global organisations. The programme begins in November 2026 under the scheme of the Dementia Frontiers Fund for a duration of two years, subject to successful annual assessments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring key milestones and progress, and identifying and tackling procedural and administrative bottlenecks.
  • Supporting the team in preparing deliverables and annual reports.
  • Coordinating research service requests from third parties, overseeing correct payments, and liaising with the department’s budget control team for budget oversight.
  • Preparing project paperwork, such as Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), contracts, and coordinating material and data transfer across participating study centres.
  • Coordinating annual Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) activities in collaboration with Radboudumc Alzheimer Centrum.
  • Ensuring adherence to the award’s requirements and communicating with our funders — Alzheimer’s Research UK.

Jouw werkplek

This is an opportunity to work at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour in Nijmegen, a leading neuroscience research centre in Europe. Nijmegen is a vibrant city with a unique combination of historic character and a green environment.
