As policy officer global health, you support the further development and day-to-day functioning of Radboudumc Global Health (RGH) in close collaboration with the RGH coordination group.
You help translate shared priorities into concrete actions, connect colleagues and initiatives across Radboudumc, strengthen collaboration with Radboud University, and support the development and coordination of strategic partnerships in the Netherlands and internationally.
In this role, you will play a central part in strengthening and further professionalizing Global Health within Radboudumc. It is a dynamic position at the intersection of strategy, collaboration, and implementation, where you actively contribute to shaping and advancing our global health ambitions. You will work closely with the RGH coordination group and engage with a broad network of internal and external partners
Your responsibilities:
Radboudumc Global Health is a network of professionals working in different departments, institutions and centers within Radboudumc. You will operate mostly out of Radboudumc's central building ('A-gebouw'), where on the 7th floor our secretary is located. From there, you have a magnificent view on the city of Nijmegen.
We're looking for a new colleague who works independently, pro-active and hands-on: a self-starter. You bring experience in program, project, or network coordination within a complex organization, allowing you to navigate diverse structures and priorities with confidence. You have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to connect and align different interests, even when perspectives vary. You can balance strategic oversight with hands‑on execution, ensuring that plans translate into tangible results. Your working style is proactive, structured, and ownership‑driven, and you are comfortable taking initiative where needed. You are also able to maintain momentum and address lack of progress, ensuring that goals move forward in a timely and effective manner.
